MCDL

Join our core of dedicated divers competing in Division IV of the Montgomery County Dive League (MCDL). This summer we will compete against Little Falls, Westleigh, North Chevy Chase and Country Glen.

Eligibility: All members of RESC who are 18 or under on May 31, 2007

Cost: $70 per diver ($55 for each additional diver). Includes daily practice and coaching, participation in all meets, awards, insurance fee, team spirit and FUN!

Sunday, June 17th 5:00 pm – RESC at Westleigh
Sunday, June 24th 5:00 pm – Little Falls at RESC - Pictures
Sunday, July 1st /Monday July 2nd 5:00pm – RESC at Country Glen
Sunday, July 8th 5:00pm – North Chevy Chase at RESC
Sunday, July 15th – Bye week
Sunday, July 22nd 8:00 am – Divisional Championship Meet (Location TBA)
Wednesday, July 25th/Thursday July 26th – 3:00 pm – All-Stars Meet (Location TBA)

Practice Schedule :
May 30th– June 14th : 5:00pm to 7:00 pm
June 15th – July 13th : 2:00 to 3:00pm (reserved for younger divers); or 5:30 to 7:00
July 16th – 24th: Practices for Divisional and All-Star participants

PARENTS: SUPPORT YOUR KIDS! SUPPORT YOUR TEAM!

We need parents to help in the running of our two home meets. Assistance is needed in the following areas:

• Working at the scoring table
• Judging and refereeing
• Chairing/helping with the food concession and fundraising
• Organizing/chaperoning social events

Please consider how you can support your children’s team and sign up at registration! If you would like to be a table worker, judge or referee, but have no experience, you can learn the rules of diving and judging at an instructional clinic at a nearby pool. (Mandatory for judges and referees, enlightening for everyone else!) If you are interested in attending a clinic please contact Kristi Cola for more information.
